We’ve had a lot of rain…yes, it rains in Seattle, but we’ve had record setting numbers. With all that rain comes damage….lots of damage especially to national parks.
Check out some of the damage that happened to Mt Rainier. Big time stuff…
While not semantically correct in this situation (since she’s in China), you have to love that regardless of where she is, she’s still fighting the system….I wish she was my auntie:

Apparently after the dude threw her bike, he and his family were shamed so badly that he had to change his phone number and went on TV to apologize.
Last night was my first ride out after daylight savings time. What this basically means is that I never see the sun…and hence I start in near darkness. Luckily, I picked up a new set of lights provided by one of our team’s new sponsors: DiNotte Lighting. Holy crap…I think my eyes are still seeing spots after making the mistake of checking out the rear light. The rear light is really the saving grace of any bike rider. You could technically survive without a front light, using the ambient light to guide your way…but without a trust rear blinker, you’re courting the accident-fairy. This just basically gives you an idea of what kinda light output that rear light gives out.

I personally think the front light could be brighter, but then again I’ve been spoiled using spiffy HID lights for so many years. Compared to the Light & Motion Vega however, the DiNotte wins out by a long shot.
Now, if only I can figure out how to keep my feet from going numb after 30 minutes I’ll be all set.
