So this past weekend I was able to travel down to Centralia, WA with the Garage folk. It was a welcomed change from the endless hours of trainer time and night time solo rides. Saturday was met with sunny skis and temps so warm it caused some to ride in shorts and short sleeves. I, like always, was a bit more optimistic keeping my double layer booties, leg warmers, wool base layer, jersey, long sleeve jersey and arm warmers. But hey, at least I wasn’t wearing gloves right?
I’m trying out a new picture hosting site over here so you can check out some of the picutres I took of the weekend festivities. Of course I didn’t get a chance to snap a photo of one of our more crafty riders flailing around a dead frog.
So this past weekend, the threat of rain scared me away from the early AM team ride. I sent out an email for anyone wanting a later start time…and boy was it worth it. Even though the rain never came and I could have ridden with the team, a group of 4 ventured off to Snohomish, Duvall, Carnation and eventually back home. What a great ride. Sunday was pretty much equally as good since I got to ride with Kele in her US National team kit and Michael.
I’ve also been playing around with Golden Cheetah seeing if I can get it to read/write from the ergomo. It’s been going a little slow since I don’t really have a firm grasp on serial I/O but I’m sure in due time I’ll be able to figure it out…
In about two weeks time, I’ll be in sunny Tuscon with some of my friends from back east working on our tans…if you remember from last year I went to L.A…yeah, well, we weren’t invited back so we had to find a new place to find random nutella jars on the ground.
