It’s a start

The rfirst day of the 2008 season officially started yesterday, and I already missed a workout :-) I had a light spin on tap, but instead I did my first yoga session. I was expecting something a little different than what we ended up doing. I guess I had misconceived notions as to what yoga actually was, well, now I know.

The room was set to 85 which meant I was sweating before we even started. I will admit, there were some times where I had to just stop and take a breather otherwise I might have gotten sick. I can certainly see where yoga has benefits for cycling. Hopefully doing this 1-2 days a week plus pilates will really help over the next season. But what really helps is having the gym/yoga studio as a team sponsor.
